1. Pressure wash your race car! Pay particular attention to removing debris near the seals. This will save tremendous cleaning time during maintenance. A clean car is easier to work on and inspect.
2. Remove the hub from the race car.

3. Place the hub seal side up on a sturdy work surface. Hint: Place a rag under the hub to catch old grease.
4. Clean any remaining debris from the seal. It must be clean!
5. Insert the sleeve into the hub so that the wheel seal contacts the sealing ring. It must be pressed in all the way to insure proper greasing.

Note: If the wheel seals are worn or torn this tool will not work as effectively. It is highly advisable and common knowledge to replace any torn or worn seals at the beginning of the season or as needed to insure proper wheel bearing performance.
6. Place the sleeve so that the grease fitting is at 12 o'clock. Attach a  grease gun with high quality grease to the fitting. Begin injecting grease. 4-5 pumps should suffice. Repeat at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Spin the sleeve 1 revolution and grease at 2, 6 and 10 o'clock. The old grease and any debris will fall to the center of the hub on your work station. Dry bearings may require more grease.
